This project was completed in my Grad Portfolio class for a series of pieces I chose to design as new dust jackets for a variety of books. While my other pieces were designed for books that already exist, this cover was made as a sample for a book that does not!

As an artist who also likes to write, this cover started as a “what if I wrote a book” and came to fruition by finding a balance between my personal taste and how I might sell the ‘writer’ side of me. Below you’ll find the full illustration and its’ mock-up.
